I am Damián Martinez, I’m 36 years old, I’m Argentine and live in Argentina. In 2019, I enrolled in the Faculty of Psychology at the National University of Mar del Plata. I immediately began working at the public hospital in my city, Villa Gesell, where I worked in the emergency system and currently provide care for adults with various issues. In 2022, I started offering online therapy sessions for Latin American patients worldwide.
My therapeutic approach is cognitive-behavioral, based on three pillars: emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Effective communication is key to preventing or better managing conflicts with those around us.
Beyond the technical aspects, I am fully committed to providing a supportive space. First and foremost, it is a safe and confidential environment where you can freely express yourself at your own pace, without pressure, and with full respect for your therapeutic process. You will not be judged or criticized (this shouldn't need to be said, but unfortunately, it happens in some settings).
I also offer an initial free pre-consultation, as well as ongoing support throughout the therapy process. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and safe in this space.
